Being able to download PS3 games is awesome…  especially when you know which games you want to try! In case you are new to PS3 gaming, here is a list of my top 10 favorite games for the Playstation 3. If you see any you haven’t tried yet, I highly recommend you get your hands on them as soon as you can. (And you can do that really cheaply and easily if you’ve joined one of the PS3 game download sites I recommend!)

So here we go: my top 10 favorite games for the PS3!

1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.  The Metal Gear Solid series is by far my favorite of all video games. The gameplay is amazing, and the cut scenes are fun to watch. Snake’s final mission was definitely one of the best.
2. Fallout 3.  This is an absolutely top-notch game. The graphics are great, the atmosphere is extremely convincing, and it’s just all-out good fun. I would have to describe it as being “quirky,” but in a really good way. However, I must put a warning here that the language is pretty bad, so this game comes from me with a “parental guidance” warning.
3. Rock Band.  The Rock Band series of games is a winner for all ages! The “fun” factor is amazingly high, and it’s addicting for almost anyone who has ever played it. This is really a must-have — what more can I say?
4. LittleBigPlanet. This is by far the most advanced, unique, and creative game you will ever play. It is a unique spen on the 2D gaming experience, and the visual appeal is fantastic. I look forward to future titles in this series!
5. Resistance: Fall of Man. Once I popped this baby in, I was completely blown away! The story captures you and draws you in for each addicting chapter after chapter, and before you know it, hours have simply slipped away! And unlike many other games, the replay value of this game is fantastic. Definitely give this one a try!
6. Burnout Paradise. This game is simple and fun, and appealing to both the casual and hard-core gamer. The high-definition graphics are amazing. Burnout Paradise is a genuinely fun game with lots of quality gameplay.
7. Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Clear your calendar when you start this game — it’s incredibly fun and addictive! The graphics are amazing, and the storyline is surprisingly clever. Even once you beat it, you will want to play it over and over again.
8. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. This game will go down in history as one of the games that changed the landscape for platform games. If you’ve ever wanted to play a Pixar movie, this is as close as it gets, and the storyline will have you laughing out loud!
9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. COD4 is truly one of the finest first person shooter games. The campaign isn’t all that long, but the multiplayer aspect more than makes up for it. Multiplayer is truly where it’s at on this game, and after many, many hours, it’s still great fun.
10. Assassin’s Creed. For anyone who likes open games with large environments, the Assassin’s Creed games are for you. The storyline and incentive program will keep you playing hour after hour. This is definitely a worthwhile gaming experience.
